Existing website

Let's talk about what you currently have.

Where is the domain name purchased?
Is it at the same hosting as your website? This is mostly needed in case we need to change your host due to security/ new requirements.
Grade the quality of your existing content

Current Assets & Personnel Involved

Let's quickly determine what can be provided by the client

Do you have your content written?
What is available for imagery?

Please list personnel by name and title. As far as turnaround time goes, please explain the process you believe the project will go through for approvals, at each step.
Help questions: Is there IT people, webmasters, or other people who aren't necessary involved with decision making (as far as design or content goes) but will have an impact on the launch / post production (maintenance) procedures?
Maintenance has many aspects. Who will be doing maintenance? How proficient is the maintenance team's web skills?
Depending on the answer of this, we change how much we have to build tools to have other people do the maintenance. We try to make most everything user friendly, so that anyone can simply edit within a specific field, but sometimes, it requires a lot more work to the back end, which could be removed from the build time/pricing if the maintenance is either covered by Davis or done by someone with strong HTML knowledge.

Generating Buzz

Specifically, how are you planning on bringing in traffic to the website.

Just looking for a couple of Keyword ideas, for SEO, etc.
Other than what search engines will produce, what methods are you using to spread the word about your site?

Transitional information

Finally, your new website often times has an effect on your other marketing materials.

Does any of your new site need to be turned into print collateral?(Required)
Are there elements (ie. social logos, etc.) that need to be created from the website design?(Required)
Do you need a formal maintenance plan, once the site is built?(Required)
